So nearly Friday,sorry I forgot this week today in Friday.So started the week with a message and so to end the week with another update on various roles I am recruiting,they are as follows.

The game that is recruitment !!

Well every day I read with amazement about recruitment and what we do and don’t and what we are and are not.

Condemned by some,ridiculed by other’s and thankfully by most as an aid,support,working relationship,friend and I believe a requirement to aid you in finding the right person based on the right brief and a work in progress.

So please bear in mind that we have good and bad as with all business but we have to work with the right tools in this case people,so if the cv is bending the truth a little then unless we know that person’s career any difference will not be known.

So we are looking at present to book a holiday in the summer for a family of 4 with 2 children who are aged 12 and 11 for the younger this Saturday 4th March.

So we have looked at many options and came up with the idea of a cruise,an ex colleague of mine and friend said to look at Thomson on the newer ships they have,so we have and looked high and low,also looked at my old company good old RCCL,of which I was on board last year on the newest and largest cruise ship ever built the Harmony of the Seas with a capacity of over 6000 guests and 2000 + crew.To say it is large is an understatement.

Anyway the one thing that has struck me is that today Thomson Cruises website is not working at all,they must be going mental,then also trying to be able to look at options is difficult when it is working,equally so is RCCL,very tough to navigate and whenever you press a back button,you then have to enter your details all over again.

So guys please look at your websites and may them easier and more efficient to be able to look at options and maybe even book,that would be great !!

So many jobs so few candidate,what is happening !

I am presently working with some great companies across the UK and they are all looking for focus,driven and commited professional people and despite the fact that I offer referral fee’s and as well subscribe to the leading hospitality website for candidates,no one seems to want to talk or return calls or emails to get in contact.

So if your cv is out there and you are not looking yes I understand and try to remove it from these candidate databases,if you are looking for a new role then answer your mobile or email and let’s see how we can help each other,as at the end of the day it is a beneficial process for all parties,but talking is the initial part,then either meet face to face if location is suitable or if outside the area use skype or facetime and tell the consultant what you are looking for.

You may be suprised as to how good they are really !!
