Head Chef – Mid Lake District
Great new vacancy in a superbly appointed Gastro Pub with all fresh food and part of a group located close to the A66 and and lakes with great views and 1st class food.
As Head Chef the role is a hands on position to work with a focused and driven team offering a quality food and service at all times.
As Head Chef you will manage day to day kitchen operations and ensure standards for food hygiene,health and safety and to achieve the food gross profit margins.
Working as part of the management team and supporting the General Manager and operations this is a key appointment and looking for an individual can maintain the food standards when busy and assist the front of house team to ensure the service and food are equally important and also the management skills to manage an operation when busy with over £30k in new weekly food sales in season and to also manage this during the winter periods.
As Head Chef it is important to the company to work with front of house and be in control of the kitchen and cope during busy periods using your skill and experience and be calm and supportive.
