We are presently recruiting for a well known and highly regarded gastro pub in a great rural location approx 20 minutes south of central Sheffield.
The venue offers great guest service for both food and drink and is a hot spot of the local area with a great reputation.
The client is looking to recruit for a hands on Sous Chef to join their team and to be able to assist the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management.
The food is fresh modern British cuisine with classical influences and using fresh and local produce to ensure the quality required.
You will work with the team and be able to manage all day to day kitchen duties as well as being able to cook in all sections of the kitchen.
Offer support and ongoing training to the junior team members and to deputise in the Head Chefs absence,also manage all food safety,health and hygiene as well as managing the food stock and ordering to achieve the required food GP margins.
The company presently have a number of venues and are looking for further expansion so the opportunity to develop your career as part of the group.
