Sous Chef – Nr Portsmouth

This South Coast client in great location overlooking to sea is presently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.
This is a hands on role to work with the team and Head Chef and be able to offer support to junior team members with ongoing training and development as well as assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen operation.
You will have the skills and knowledge to work in all parts of the kitchen and to manage during the Head Chef’s absence with days off and holidays.
Working skills and ability to manage all food safety,health and hygiene as well as food stocks and controls.
The hotel is a 4 star using fresh and seasonal food and has a 80 cover restaurant as well as events and function space for up to 200 guests.
Also be able to create a positive work environment for all especially with the food and beverage teams.
The working hours are 40 with paid overtime.
£32k,benefits,service charge,3 month live in available,pension
