Sous Chef – Chester area  

We are working with a highly regarded and award winning hotel with 4 stars and also superb restaurant facility based close to Chester in a beautiful rural setting who are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join their kitchen brigade.

The hotel is part of a group with venues across the region and offers a quality product in all areas of the hotel which includes a 140 cover restaurant serving fresh and seasonal food and as much local produce is possible and is also a popular location for weddings with over 80 booked this year and events in their well appointed conference areas of the hotel.

The hotel also has an added benefit of a casual all day dining Brasserie that serves traditional British cuisine with a modern twist.

The Sous Chef role will work as part of this team of approx 12 chefs and 4 KP’s to ensure and deliver the high standards required and to have the ability to work at a consistent levels required and to deputise in the Head Chef’s absence.

Working as part of the team and the various corners of the kitchen and be able to support and train the junior team members and deliver the standards required at all times,to support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to also food safety standards as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.

Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career.

The role will suit someone looking for a more senior kitchen management role and further career development.
