Sous Chef – Hotel nr Chester

This group client in a branded hotel with mix of local corporate and leisure are presently looking for a Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

The hotel has over 80+ bedrooms with 60 cover restaurant and also M&E spaces for up to 200 guests in the largest suite and various boardrooms and is a popular venue for various events including weddings,functions,events and Christmas parties and also offers a full leisure club with spa.

The food in the restaurant is working to a branded menu and would be in line with branded restaurant concepts and in the M&E areas there is a chance to have an input into function menus.

As a Sous Chef your role will be to work with and be part of the team and work in various corners of the kitchen and be able to produce a good standard of food in line with the company requirements and SOP’s and also to support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to ensure food safety standards are maintained as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.

Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career as well as 2 days off per week and work 5 days over 7 on a rota basis.

The role will suit someone looking for a 1st time Sous Chef appointment and working presently as a Junior Sous or Senior Chef de Partie
