Sous Chef Liverpool  

This new and exciting company with operations presently across the North West area with this new innovative  venue in Liverpool are recruiting for a hands on Sous Chef to join their team.

The operation offers all day dining serving breakfast,lunch and dinner with the food made fresh including breads,cakes etc and also seasonal using as much local produce as possible to ensure the quality required.

Generally the site has approx 1000 customers per week and is seen as a destination of choice for everything from a cup of coffee to a 3 course dinner and has excellent standards of food and service and with it’s multi functional spaces has become part of the part of the local calender holding various events.

 

Working as part of the senior management and assisting the Head Chef in the day to day operations it is important that you take an integral part and ownership during the Head Chefs absence,as well to manage all back of house areas including kitchen hygiene,food safety standards and ensure a 5 star rating when inspected.

As such you will have the skills and ability to work with the venue and company management teams to create and develop and influence the direction of the business and development of the company.

Involved with the Head Chef in all aspects of the kitchen which will include dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to achieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
