Sous Chef  – nr Chester/Wales border  

This stunning 4 star hotel has it all from award winning restaurant,to fantastic events and functions spaces to well equipped leisure club and spa facilities and they are now looking for a Sous Chef due to internal promotion.

Recently the hotel has been through a refurbishment and now offer opulent luxury in the 100 bedrooms and suites and supports that further with the 150 cover restaurant offering a modern British menu with generally fresh seasonal produce and also within the C&B areas of the hotel can cater for 300 guests in the largest suite.

The operation is located close to Chester and is popular with both leisure and corporate guests as well as hosting over 70 weddings per year due to great gardens and picturesque scenery.

Working as part of the kitchen management and assisting the Head Chef in the day to day operations it is important that you take an integral part and ownership during the Head Chefs absence,as well to manage all back of house areas including kitchen hygiene,food safety standards and ensure a 5 star rating when inspected.

As such you will have the skills and ability to work with the junior team members and offer training and development for each individual.
