Sous Chef – Gastro pub Chester area

This well known and highly regarded gastro pub in Chester area and a great location with 100 cover restaurant and great bar serving all day casual dining with a traditional Sunday lunch are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

The venue offers and is well known for the standard of food and service and has various themed evenings to attract both the local residents as well as attracting business from the surrounding area using all fresh,seasonal and generally local produce this also includes locally made beers etc.

The Sous Chef role will work as part of this team of chefs and 2 KP’s to ensure and deliver the high standards required and to have the ability to work at a consistent levels required.

Working as part of the team and the various corners of the kitchen and be able to support and train the junior team members and deliver the standards required at all times,to support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to also food safety standards as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.

Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career and a key aspect of the role is a 4 day working week.

The role will suit someone looking for a step into a management role within the kitchen and career development.
