Sous Chef – restaurant nr Chester

This well known restaurant based in superb location with views of the local countryside and a 1st class restaurant offering high quality modern British food are looking for a Jr/Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

The restaurant offers all day dining from an a la carte menu and also has a great reputation for traditional Sunday lunch with a fresh twist.

Also the venue with great modern facilities is also able to offer al fresco dining and also has the ability to host events and weddings.

The food in the restaurant is all fresh and seasonal and uses as much local produce as possible to achieve high standards of food and equally offers 1st class guest service.

As a Sous Chef your role will be to work with and be part of the team and work in various corners of the kitchen and be able to produce a good standard of food in line with the company requirements and SOP’s and also to support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to ensure food safety standards are maintained as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.

Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career as well as 2 days off per week and work 5 days over 7 on a rota basis.

The role will suit someone looking for a 1st time Sous Chef appointment and working presently as a Junior Sous or Senior Chef de Partie
