Sous Chef – Chester
This 4 star hotel based in Chester as part of a national group are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join their company and kitchen brigade.
The hotel has over 200 + bedrooms with multiple F&B outlets as well as fine dine and all day dining restaurant with cafe and also M&E for up to 300 guests in the largest suite.
Your role as Sous Chef and as part of the kitchen team is to be able to manage and assist the Head Chef in the day to day management of all kitchen operations and to ensure the standards of the food produced for the various outlets in the hotel.
As Sous Chef you will be able to work with and assist junior kitchen members and to train and develop each person to achieve a higher standard and make a more efficient member of the team.
Manage as well all health and safety as well as ordering stock,stock controls as well as ensure the kitchen is working to achieve and manage costs including wages,food gross profit margins etc.
Report direct to the Head Chef and deputise in their absence.
