Sous Chef – Gloucester area

£35k basic salary,annual bonus,monthly tips of approx £300 per month,Pension,Company discounts

The client based in rural location in Gloucestershire are presently recruiting for a hands-on Sous Chef to assist and support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen operations and to help maintain their standards for the restaurant and events spaces at this well appointed gastro pub with rooms.

You will be working with the team to create a positive work environment and as part of the community for this well-loved local establishment.

As Sous Chef ensuring the food is served to the highest of quality, all health & safety aspects of the business are compliant & undertake the training/recruitment of future kitchen team members ranging from KP’s to all levels of chefs in the kitchen.

The business currently caters across a restaurant for approx 80 covers as well function/events space for up to 100 guests.

You will have the ability to work with the Head Chef and be creative with the menu and working alongside the GM, creating seasonal menus using all fresh local food with traditional British food items with a modern twist.

The client requires the chef to work 45 hours per week over 5 days, shift start times can vary depending on the needs and requirements of the business.
