£33,000k & tronc, great company benefits, life assurance & pension,live in available,package up to £38k on a 45 hour contract
My client is looking for an experienced Sous Chef for a very busy 4* hotel near to Chester,the hotel has over 100 + bedrooms with multiple F&B operations including an award winning restaurant,also offers events and function space for up to 250 + guests.
There is also an all day menu for the hotel lounge and the venue also specialises in Afternoon Teas.

You will on a daily basis be responsible for:
Supporting the Head Chef in the day to day running of a fast paced busy hotel kitchen.
Supervising junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all cooking processes.
Assist in the management of kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow during service.
Prepare and cook menu items according to brand specification and standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Experience in a similar environment would be an advantage.
