Hotel Sous Chef – South Manchester area

£36,000, company benefits, pension, parking, company discounts.service charge

Presently recruiting for a Sous Chef for this 4 star hotel client based in South Manchester close to the local main road networks.

The client is looking for a Sous Chef to join the talented kitchen team at this hotel with knowledge and experience of both restaurants as well as events,functions and weddings etc.

This is a 4 star hotel with 30 + bedrooms offering modern British menu with all fresh food and in a 70 covers restaurant as well as events,conferences and wedding space for approx 150 guests.

The key areas of the role include,

Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence.

Support with menu development, stock management and maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen.

Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members.

Ensure that high standards and attention to detail are maintained, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* Scores on the doors.

Continuously motivate the team to make sure that fresh quality food is presented each time.

The Sous Chef plays an integral role in training and development junior team member.
