Sous Chef – Solihull area

£30k basic salary,40 hour contract with paid overtime,company pension,company discounts and staff discount at company hotels,leisure membership for 2 and life assurance,career development

The client based in great location in the Solihull area close to the local services and road network are presently recruiting for a hands-on Sous Chef to assist and support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen operations and to help maintain their standards for the hotel restaurant and events spaces at this 100 + bedroom group hotel

You will be working with the team to create a positive work environment for the kitchen team and also be able to develop the same with all departments for an inclusive working venue.

As Sous Chef ensuring the food is served to the company standards at all times and all health & safety aspects of the business are compliant & undertake the training/recruitment of future kitchen team members ranging from KP’s to all levels of chefs in the kitchen.

The hotel has a 100 + covers all day dining restaurant as well various functions and events spaces with the largest room catering for 200 guests.

The client requires the Sous Chef to work a 40 hour week over 5 days, shift start times can vary depending on the needs and requirements of the business.
