We are looking to recruit for this 4 star Manchester hotel for a Senior Sous Chef for the Banqueting kitchen within the venue.
The hotel is 100+ bedrooms with various F&B outlets and the C&B areas of the hotel can cater for over 500 + guests in the largest suite.
There are additional rooms catering for boardroom style 1 on 1 as well as for up to 20,30 and 50 guests and also private dining areas within then hotel.
As the Sous Chef you are going to be working with a team specifically working within the main banqueting kitchen of the hotel and oversee the day today operations of this kitchen area and be supported by a team of Chefs that includes a Jr Sous as well as Chef de Parties.
Training and development of the team is an important part of your role to ensure the food standards are at the highest level to ensure a great guest experience if for a banquet or a conference lunch at all times.
Working with the Exec Chef and main kitchen team at all times and to manage all food safety,health and hygiene in line with company and EHO requirements,also manage the finances of the kitchen for food GP margins,wage costs and food purchasing.
Reporting to the Exec Chef and attend management meetings as and when required.
