Rooms Operations Manager – Lancashire
A well known and highly regarded 4 star group hotel in Lancashire are recruiting a key appointment of Rooms Manager to join their senior management team.
The hotel has 110 + bedrooms and excellent facilities across the hotel which includes a casual dining restaurant,lounge bar area as well as various function rooms with the largest of a capacity of 200 guests and attracts a high % of corporate guests as well as excellent leisure trade during weekends etc.
The role to lead and manage all day to day aspects of reception and front of house teams as well as managing and leading the housekeeping department and to ensure the brand company standards are adhered to at all times across the hotel.
Considered a hands on position to assist the HOD’s and offer one to one training and development plans for all team members and to deliver the company message at all times for both guests and team alike and create an ownership of the operation.
Working close with other departments and the senior management team and to assist the General Manager to deliver great guest feedback and also to drive sales and revenue.
You will also be involved in key hotel decisions to ensure budgets are achieved and the teams are upselling when appropriate and also to control costs through managing payroll and incidental spends in all areas of the departments you are managing.
Reporting direct to the General Manager the role will suit an individual from a 4 star hotel background with exposure in all key departments or as Senior HOD in reception or housekeeping but also working knowledge and experience of F&B looking for their next career development role.
