Presently recruiting for this award winning hotel in the beautiful rural area of Trowbridge for an experienced hands on Restaurant Manager to join the hotel management team.
This role requires a knowledgeable hands on Restaurant Manager to work with and lead the team within the restaurant department which consists of a 60 cover fine dining restaurant that serves hotel guests for breakfast,lunch and dinner and also there is a bar and lounge area to oversee offering a high standard of food,wines and service at all times.
Working with the hotel team and create a 1st class guest experience and also a positive work environment working with all of the HOD’s and respective teams.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including the bar and lounge areas.
Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality service and adherence to food safety standards.
When possible to upsell the food,drinks and wines to maximize revenue and sales in the department.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations and hotel industry practices is preferred. Manage the sales and department costs as well as staff rota’s. Train and develop all team members.
