Presently recruiting for a 4 star luxury hotel in Chester for an experienced hands on Restaurant Manager to join the hotel management team.
This role requires and experienced and knowledgeable hands on Restaurant Manager to work with and lead the team within the restaurant department which consists of a 80 cover fine dine restaurant as well facilities for private dining for 20 guests in a separate area of the hotel,there is also a cocktail bar and lounge area to oversee within the operations.
You will work with the hotel management team and ensure the highest service standards and guest care at all times.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including the bar and lounge areas and private dining.
Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality service and adherence to food safety standards.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
Create and maintain menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special promotions.- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations and hotel industry practices is preferred.
