Up to £40,000 per year + Gratuities | Live-in or Relocation Support Available
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team at one of Devon’s most respected luxury hotels.

Working alongside a talented culinary team and reporting to the senior F&B leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering memorable experiences to every guest, every service.
About the Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the restaurant, managing a team of skilled professionals and upholding the service standards expected of a nationally recognised venue.
With a focus on quality, consistency, and team development, you’ll ensure operations run smoothly across all services, from breakfast and à la carte dining to tasting menus and Sunday lunches.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring consistently high service standards
- Lead and inspire the front-of-house team with a hands-on, supportive approach
- Work closely with the kitchen and hotel leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Manage bookings, floor plans, and service flow to optimise both guest satisfaction and team efficiency
- Handle rota’s, stock control, budgets, and service charge distribution
- Implement training and development plans to your team and identify areas of improvement
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Monitor guest feedback and lead continuous improvement initiatives

- A proven track record in a leadership role within a fine dining or rosette-accredited restaurant
- Strong team management and mentoring skills
- A guest first mindset with exceptional communication and floor presence
- Commercially minded with experience in budgets, rotas, and performance KPIs
- An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences
- A genuine passion for modern British cuisine and seasonal produce
