We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join this hotels reservations team.

In this key role, you will oversee the reservations department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from the moment they book their stay. Your expertise in hospitality and guest services will be essential in managing bookings, addressing inquiries, and optimising occupancy rates while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of the reservations process, including taking bookings via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Ensure accurate entry of reservation details into the system to prevent discrepancies.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests and ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor occupancy levels and adjust pricing strategies to maximise revenue.
• Train and supervise reservations staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and industry trends to assist guests effectively.
• Prepare reports on booking trends and performance metrics for management review.

Experience

• Proven experience in a hospitality role, preferably within a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated experience in guest services, showcasing an ability to anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.
• Proficiency in using the companies inhouse reservation management systems and other relevant software applications.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
