Reservations Manager – Shropshire area
This superb 4 star hotel in with great location close to the major road and rail networks of the area are recruiting for a Reservations Manager,the hotel benefits from being a part of a hotel management group.
The role will be working in the Revenue Office and to oversee all reservations and some revenue for the hotel and this will include room rates etc as well as the additional areas of working closely with a team of 2/3 Co-Ordinators to ensure and drive sales within all areas of the hotel including bedrooms,MICE markets and general food & beverage.
The hotel has an award winning restaurant with various meeting rooms available from the largest suite for 250 guests to boardrooms from 2 to 40 guests and the hotel benefits from a strong presence in the region servicing both corporate and also leisure business.
Ideally the person will be from a similar background with the ability to manage and develop revenue/sales with a combined approach of both ensuring all enquiries are dealt with efficiently by the team to secure the business as well as using the hotel’s online presence and use of 3rd party agents etc and also from both previous and new users of the hotel, to assist in achieving sales targets and budgets for the hotel.
Supporting the team members and guiding through a training and development as well as leadership approach with defined targets in all key areas of the office sales team.
