Operations Manager – Reading/Newbury region
We are looking for a client based in this region who are part of a national group operating a 70 + bedroom 4 star hotel within a country house style operation.
The hotel is within it’s own grounds and has a 70 cover restaurant as well as various meeting rooms with the largest for 200 guests and other meeting and boardrooms across the hotel.
Also the hotel benefits from a leisure club and offers facilities for both hotel guests and members.
This is a hands on role to lead and manage the team day to day within front of house areas which includes reception,F&B,housekeeping,kitchen and leisure.
Reporting direct to the General Manager and ensure a high standard of guest care as well as managing the finances of the department to achieve budget as well as controlling food,liquor and wage costs.
As part of the management team you will work as a Duty Manager on a rota basis and deputise for the General Manager.
