M&E Operations Manager – Manchester
This group hotel client with great location close to the major road and rail networks of Manchester are recruiting for a M&E Operations Manager to join their team.
The hotel offers great facilities which includes a 120 cover restaurant,various M&E rooms with the largest with a capacity of 250 guests as well as various boardrooms and bars,lounge area as well as superb leisure and spa facilities.
As the M&E Operations Manager your role is to manage and lead the team day to day and ensure the highest standards of service at all times is offered to all the guests using this area of the hotel.
You will be supported by an Assistant Manager and 2 Supervisors with then a mix of contracted and casual team members.
The hotel has a general focus on the corporate market but is also a popular location for various events,weddings etc and caters for over 5000 customers during the Xmas period.
You will work with the team and be the main lead in dealing operationally with guests and offer training and development to all staf to ensure a consistency of standards.
In addition you will manage the liquor stock in your department as well as wage costs and controls and also upsell when possible to achieve the department and hotel budget.
Report direct to the Operations Manager with excellent career opportunities within the company.
