Sales Office Manager – Barnsley region

We are presently working with this excellent hotel based in the Barnsley area for a key role in the business for a Sales Office Manager to join their expanding and developing team.
The key skills for the individual are the following,
The individual to have knowledge of reservations and sales and ideally also some experience of revenue manager in the local markets
Ability and skills to lead the department and team and support the hotel strategy
Assist and work with the Management to prepare Forecasts and Budgets for all segments of the business
Manage relationships with online travel agencies
Assisting and have some responsibility for the strategy to drive rooms and M&E revenue within the business
Analysing market information and market trends to support revenue decisions
Review the business plans with the senior team and identify gaps and meet set targets
Working to achieve revenue and sales targets and to develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory
You will also be working with a senior manager in the department and to assist and work with that person and with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and packages and also liaise with the General Manager and senior management team
