Great new vacancy for Head Chef nr Chester
Head Chef required for an outstanding restaurant based near Chester
The operation consists of 100 cover restaurant offering a high standard of food and service using fresh,seasonal and also local produce to the discerning clientele of the area being popular with local residents as well as a venue of choice in and around the region.
As Head Chef you will be working as part of the senior management of the operation and working with a kitchen brigade and working with them to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
The operation is open 7 days a week and offers all day dining in a casual relaxed environment and also serves a traditional Sunday lunch which is very popular.
You will have involvement in all aspects of the kitchen which will include developing and writing menus,also dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to ahcieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
The company are also looking presently at expansion plans and you will be involved in that area when required.
Recently the owners have been able to offer a 4 day working week and this will be able to continue with a fullk kitchen brigade.
Reporting direct to the owners and General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
