We are presently working with this stunning deluxe hotel in great rural location in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside.
The client is looking for a key position in the hotel for a hands on Meeting and Events Manager to lead the events team in day to day operations within the department.
The hotel has 70 + bedrooms with multiple F&B areas in the hotel with an award winning restaurant,main lounge and bar and various meeting and events rooms catering for up to 300 + guests during busy periods in the hotel.
As a manager within the department you will be working with and supporting the team and to ensure and deliver great guest service at all times.
The M&E team consists of a core of full time staff supported by casual team members when required for any large operations,the team consists of an Assistant Manager,Supervisors and the team members working on a rota basis.
You will be able to ensure the highest standards at all times and great guest satisfaction and to liaise with the other departments in the hotel to offer the highest standards of service at all times.
Working with the team and offering ongoing training and development to al team members including casual staff.
Liaise with the other hotel HOD’s and create a positive work environment with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
Work with the department manager for the department finances for wage costs,rota’s etc and report to the F&B Manager.
