This well known group hotel are presently looking to recruit for a hands on Head Chef for their company hotel in a great location in the Liverpool area.
The operation is popular with the corporate and leisure markets of the region and they offer and deliver great food and service within the hotel.
The Head Chef role is to lead the kitchen operation and team in the day to day business and ensure a high standard of food quality at all times working with and from a branded company menu for the hotel main restaurant.
Working with the team and to assist support them with ongoing training and development and for each team member to take ownership of their role in the business.
Manage all the back of house including costs for wages,purchasing of food and to work to achieve the required food GP margins.
Working as part of the team to offer leadership and a focus for the team and to create a positive work environment between the kitchen team,F&B team as well as the rest of the hotel and departments.
Reporting to the General Manager and to attend management meetings to ensure a clear understanding of the operation.
