Junior Sous Chef – hotel nr Chester

This well known and highly regarded 4 star hotel located close to Chester super location with far reaching views of the countryside are looking for a Jr Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

The hotel offers all day casual dining in a restaurant as well as additional dining facilities which also includes large C&B for over 300 guests in the largest suite.

The food throughout all F&B outlets is mostly fresh and also the hotel offers seasonal menus as well ass traditional British classics and has similar food available in the C&B areas of the hotel to achieve high standards of food and equally offers 1st class guest service.

As a Junior Sous Chef your role will be to work with and be part of the kitchen management team and work in various corners of the kitchen and be able to produce a good standard of food in line with the company requirements and SOP’s and also to support the Exec Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to ensure food safety standards are maintained as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.

Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career as well as 2 days off per week and work 5 days over 7 on a rota basis.

The role will suit someone looking for a 1st time Junior Sous Chef appointment and working presently as a Senior Chef de Partie
