Junior Sous Chef – Liverpool area
We are working with this highly regarded group restaurant and bar operator who are presently recruiting for a hands on Junior Sous Chef/Senior Chef de Partie to be part of the kitchen management team in a great Liverpool suburbs location.
The venue is well known in the area with a great reputation for the food and service it offers and the ambience also adds to the guest experience.
The kitchen team consists of a Head Chef,Sous Chef and a brigade of approx 6/7 chefs in total as well as KP’s and your role is to work with and assist the Head/Sous Chef to ensure the food standards are always maintained as well as being able to manage the team and offer support through training and development.
The food is modern British with some twists using all mainly fresh produce with with regular menu changes throughout the year and you will be able to offer menu ideas during this process and as part of the team.
The ability to work in the various corners of the kitchen and deliver the standards required at all times,to support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to also food safety standards as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.
Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career.
The role will suit someone looking for a more senior management role and further career development.
