Junior Sous Chef – Chester area  

We are working with this highly regarded Chester restaurant and bar who are presently recruiting for a hands on Junior Sous Chef/Senior Chef de Partie to be part of the kitchen management team.

The venue is very well known and has a great reputation for the food and service it offers and the ambience also adds to the guest experience.

The kitchen team consists of a Head Chef,Sous Chef and a brigade of approx 7/8 chefs in total as well as KP’s and your role is to work with and assist the Head Chef to ensure the food standards are always maintained as well as being able to manage the team and offer support through training and development.

The food is modern using all fresh and seasonal produce with a French influence with regular menu changes throughout the year and you will be able to offer new menu ideas when this happens.

Working as part of the team and the various corners of the kitchen and deliver the standards required at all times,to support the Head Chef in the day to day kitchen management and to also food safety standards as well as achieving required food gp margins and the kitchen costs for wages etc.

Also you will be offered ongoing training and development for your career.

The role will suit someone looking for a more senior kitchen management role and further career development.
