We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Human Resources Manager to join this hotel groups team on a FTC for one year,however due to company expansion plans this may extend or also become a permanent role.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. You will be responsible for developing HR strategies that align with our business objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. This position requires strong leadership skills, proficiency in HRIS systems, and a keen ability to analyse data to drive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the hotel teams with regards to all HR issues within each hotel and operations to ensure effective service delivery.
- Utilise the company in house systems for managing employee records and recruitment processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct data analysis to assess workforce trends and inform strategic planning.
- Oversee the recruitment process using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to attract top talent.
- Facilitate employee training and development programmes to enhance skills and performance.
- Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and best practices in human resources management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Manager ideally to CIPD level 5 or similar role within a group operation environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- A solid understanding of employment laws and regulations within the UK context.
- A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
You will be overseeing 3/4 hotels in the group’s portfolio and be able to travel to each venue on a regular basis and meet with the General Managers and their teams and HOD’s to discuss HR issues,recruitment etc.
