Presently recruiting for this lovely rural hotel and restaurant based close to Lymm,South Manchester for a Restaurant and Bar Manager to join their team.
This hotel has 40 + bedrooms along with a 70 cover restaurant serving breakfast,lunch and dinner as well as main bar and function bar and also serving Afternoon Teas in the hotel lounge area.
This is a hands on manager role to work with and support the team and offer on going training and development to ensure a consistency of service standards.
As Restaurant Manager you will manage the day to day operations working with the team and be able to offer and ensure a great guest experience working with a dedicated team.
The restaurant is open to both residents and also the local clientele that use the facilities for it’s 1st class service.
The hotel is also a popular wedding and events venue and is well known in the area offering great wedding packages and also stands in it’s own grounds.
Duties:
– Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
– Manage and train staff, including hiring, rota’s and performance evaluations
– Maintain inventory levels of liquor and wine stocks and order supplies as needed
– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
– Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
– Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
