We are presently working with this 4 star group hotel in great location in Luton area recruiting for a hands on Operations Manager to lead the team and to drive and develop the business.
The hotel has over 100 + bedrooms with main hotel restaurant and bar as well as a number of meeting rooms for conferences and events.
Your role is to lead the day to day operations and teams in guest service areas of the hotel that include front office,houskeeping and F&B department.
You will be able to communicate with the team and to have a clear focus on the requirements of the business to deliver great guest service at all times and also to manage and control costs as well as driving sales and revenue to achieve the hotel budgets.
Working with and assisting the Managers and teams in their departments and to offer development and training to all managers and their teams.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the organization
– Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
– Set strategic goals and objectives for the operations department
– Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall performance
– Supervise and provide guidance to a team of employees
– Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize operations
– Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for projects and initiatives
Skills:
– Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Proven experience in managing and supervising employees
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
As Operations Manager you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and to liaise with the HOD’s and teams and then report directly to the General Manager with regular meetings with the departments.
