General Manager – Sheffield area

Presently recruiting a General Manager for this branded hotel based in the Sheffield area with great links to the city for a group hotel with 100 + bedrooms with various F&B/M&E areas of the hotel.
The hotel has 100 cover restaurant and main bar along with some unique events and function spaces as well as leisure facilities.
The client is looking for a hands on person to lead and work with the operational team to ensure great customer service at all times,also manage the business to ensure to achieve the hotel budget and profit margins agreed.
You will work with and assist the HOD’s to create a positive working environment for all team members including casual and part time staff and offer training and development of the teams and departments.
Working with the sales and revenue teams as well as finance and to control the costs associated with labour,purchasing etc.
Report to the Regional Director with regular communication through face to face meetings as well as telephone conversations to ensure the business is running to the standards,costs etc to deliver the profits set out in the budgets.
