We are seeking a motivated and focused Front of House Manager to join this luxury 4 star hotel management team.
In this key role, you will oversee the front of house team which includes reception team members and the Night Manager and night team.
You will be ensuring exceptional guest experiences from the moment they client arrives until their departure and during their stay. Your expertise in hospitality and guest services will be essential in managing and working with the team and be able to offer and support them with training and development and ensure a consistency of service standards at all times.
The hotel offers 1st class luxury with 50 + bedrooms as well as award winning dining and also offers spaces for events,weddings etc and includes a high end leisure club and spa.
Duties
- Manage the day to day operations of the reception team.
- Deal with reservations and bookings outside of core hours via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Train and supervise the reception staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and industry trends to assist guests effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in a hospitality role, preferably within a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated experience in guest services, showcasing an ability to anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.
- Proficiency in using the companies inhouse reservation management systems and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
