Presently working with this 4 star hotel part of a group of hotels and venues in various locations in the UK who are recruiting for a hands on Head Chef.
The hotel stands in it’s own grounds with great location to the local road networks and with onsite parking.
Well regarded in the local area and popular for weddings,events as well as conferences and with approx 70 + bedrooms it caters to both the corporate and leisure markets with it’s close proximity to a couple of cities in the area.
Boasting a Brasserie style restaurant serving fresh and seasonal produce and this is the same within the C&B areas of the hotel.
You will be working with and supporting the kitchen team and working closely with the hotel management and create a positive work environment between kitchen and front of house teams and also be able to ensure a consistent standard of food in all areas.
Also you will write and cost the menus and work in the parameters of the food offering and achieve the food GP margins in line with targets,also ensure all food hygiene,health and safety,allergens as well as achieving required standards from the EHO.
The team are settled and require your support as well as training and development to maintain the quality of the kitchen brigade and consistent standards.
Report to the General Manager and attend regular meetings when required.
