This 120 + bedroom group hotel based nr Solihull close to the major attractions of the area as well as the road networks are looking to recruit for a hands on Head Chef to join their kitchen team.
The operation consists of 100 cover casual dining restaurant as well as a number of M&E rooms with the largest suite for over 150 guests as well various other meeting rooms across the hotel.
The hotel offers a traditional British menus at present using fresh seasonal produce and this is also generally the same within the M&E areas of the hotel for including weddings,events etc to a high standard.
As Head Chef you are part of the management of the operation and will be working with the kitchen brigade in a hands on role and to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
You will be able to ensure a consistently high quality of food,also you will be aware of all food safety and hygiene standards at work to ensure a 5 star rating on the next inspection.
Also work consistently towards the food GP margins along with management of stock controls as well as food purchasing.
Reporting direct to the General Manager and as part of the hotel management team be required to attend HOD meetings etc.
