Great new vacancy for a Head Chef  in the Oldham area

Head Chef required for a this popular location nr Oldham.

The venue consists of traditional British pub with an area for dining for approx 40 covers.

The food is all home made with traditional British Fayre as well as casual all day food available which includes sandwiches,soups etc all made on site by the kitchen team.

You will manage a team of approx 5 with 2 other chefs as well as 2 general assistants to support with the usual cleaning of the kitchen as well as some basic food prepration.

As Head Chef you are managing all aspects of the kitchen operation which includes a hands on role in cooking as well as to manage all stock,purchasing,food hygiene ,food cost controls as well as writing menus etc.

The operation is open 7 days a week and is popular with both the local residents as well as walkers due to it’s rural location and in a popular area for visitors to the region as well as being close to the local motorway.

Reporting direct to the General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
