We are recruiting for a Head Chef for this group hotel located near to Solihull.
The hotel has over 100 + bedroom with various F&B outlets which includes a casual dining restaurant for breakfast,lunch and dinner,also the hotel has C&B for up to 200 guests in the largest suite and also various other meeting rooms.
The role of the Head Chef is to lead and manage the day to day kitchen operations and to ensure the consistency of the food preparation and presentation at all times,also to maintain the food hygiene in line with company standards which are to achieve 5 stars at food inspections.
Work with and support the team and offer on going training and development as well as a motivated team environment and staff retention is also key.
As Head Chef you will also look to achieve the company food GP margins in line with the budget and work with the company suppliers and ensure food quality consistency.
You will be involved in menu and food development as part of the hotel group moving forward working with the Group Exec Chef.
To attend management meetings when required as well as planning meetings for events etc taking place in the hotel and to create a positive working relationship with the hotel HOD’s and also supporting the food and beverage service staff.
Reporting to the General Manager and as part of the senior management team,you will also be offered ongoing training and development for your own career as part of the company.
