Great new vacancy for a Head Chef located near Sheffield in a beautiful rural location.
This role is for a high end Gastro with rooms that offers superb rooms and food.
The venue has 50 + bedrooms as well as an award winning restaurant offering a high standard of food and service using fresh,seasonal and also local produce to the local residents as well as the guests staying at the venue.
The operation also caters to events,weddings,functions etc for up to 100 + guests and you will be writing menus as per the client’s requirements.
As Head Chef you will be part of the senior management of the operation and working with a kitchen brigade to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
The company has an Exec Chef who oversees the company venues and you will be working closely with this person but full management of the team and operation.
The operation is open 7 days a week and offers all day dining in a casual relaxed environment and also serves a traditional Sunday lunch which is very popular.
You will have involvement in all aspects of the kitchen which will include developing and writing menus,also dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to achieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
Reporting direct to the General Manager and Exec Chef this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
