Great new vacancy for a Head Chef in the North Yorkshire area
Head Chef required for a high end Gastro with rooms in this superb location in North Yorkshire.
The venue has 30 + bedrooms as well as a superb 100 cover AA rosette restaurant offering a high standard of food and service using fresh,seasonal and also local produce to the local residents as well as the guests staying at the venue.
As Head Chef you will be part of the senior management of the operation and working with a kitchen brigade to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
The operation is open 7 days a week and offers all day dining in a casual relaxed environment and also serves a traditional Sunday lunch which is very popular.
You will have involvement in all aspects of the kitchen which will include developing and writing menus,also dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to achieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
Reporting direct to the General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
