Head Chef Sandbach/Homes Chapel area
Presently looking to recruit for this 60 + bedroom group hotel based in the Holmes Chapel/Sandbach area for a Head Chef to join their kitchen team.
The hotel consists of a 80 cover restaurant along with M&E rooms with the largest suite for over 80 + guests as well various other meeting rooms across the hotel and and also outdoor areas that have been added for customers over recent months.
The food is traditional British menus using generally fresh produce and this is also same in the M&E areas of the hotel for weddings,events etc.
As Head Chef and as part of the management of the operation and will be working closely with kitchen team and also hotel management to ensure a consistent quality of food in all areas and as well working to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
You will be able to ensure a consistently high quality of food,also you will be aware of all food safety and hygiene standards at work to ensure a consistent 5 star rating on all food inspections and also with the Exec Chef you will have the opportunity to write and develop the menus in all areas of the hotel..
Also work consistently towards the food GP margins along with management of stock controls as well as food purchasing.
Reporting direct to the General Manager and required to attend HOD meetings etc.
