Great new vacancy for a Head Chef  in a beautiful location on the Fylde coast for this gastro pub hotel.

The hotel has 30 + bedrooms as well as an award winning restaurant offering a high standard of food and service using fresh,seasonal and also local produce to the local clientele as well the guests staying at the venue.

The hotel attracts many visitors with it’s superb location and excellent reputation for 1st class service,food and drink.

As Head Chef you will be part of the senior management of the operation and working with a kitchen brigade to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.

The hotel offers a modern British menu with traditional items as well as some specials and has been recognised with an award for food and service and is looking to maintain to this standard going forward, so the role would suit an individual with a background in similar dining environments.

You will have involvement in all aspects of the kitchen,dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to achieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.

Reporting direct to the General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
