Head Chef ,East Riding area
Head Chef required for a 4 star group hotel based in town centre location with superb facilities including a casual all day dining restaurant as well as large C&B operations for over 400 + in the largest function suite and is a popular venue for events,functions,weddings,Xmas parties and conferences for the local corporate market.
As Head Chef you will be part of the senior management of the operation and working with a kitchen brigade to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
You will be working with the team and be hands on Head Chef and to ensure as well as consistent quality of food you will also be aware of all food safety and hygiene standards at work to ensure a 5 star rating on the next inspection.
Also work consistently towards the food GP margins along with management of stock controls as well as food purchasing.
You will have an involvement in all aspects of the kitchen with some involvement in writing menus,also dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce.
Reporting direct to the General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
£40k,excellent bonus,tips and benefits.
