This well known and highly regarded hotel are presently looking to recruit for a hands on Head Chef for this 1st class deluxe hotel in a great location in the Cotswolds area.
The operation is popular with the corporate and leisure markets of the region and they offer and deliver great food and service within the hotel.
The Head Chef role is to lead the kitchen operation and team in the day to day business and ensure a high standard of food quality at all times working with fresh,seasonal produce and to enhance the guest care and experience at all times.
Working with a focused and dedicated team to assist you and you support them with ongoing training and development and for each team member to take ownership of their role in the business.
To continue to develop the food with exciting and innovative dishes and to develop further the business with great social media and guest feedback.
Manage all the back of house including costs for wages,purchasing of food and to work to achieve the required food GP margins.
Working as part of the team to offer leadership and a focus for the team and to create a positive work environment between the kitchen team,F&B team as well as the rest of the hotel and departments.
Reporting to the General Manager and to attend management meetings to ensure a clear understanding of the operation.
