Great new vacancy for Head Chef ,Chester
Head Chef required for an outstanding restaurant in beautiful rural location Chester.
The venue offers a 100 cover restaurant offering a high standard of food and service using fresh,seasonal and also local produce to the local clientele of the area being popular with local residents as well as a venue of choice in and around the region.
Additionally can cater to private weddings,events and finally also has an al fresco part of the operation with stunning views of the local countryside.
As Head Chef you will be part of the senior management of the operation and working with a kitchen brigade to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
The operation is open 7 days a week and offers all day dining in a casual relaxed environment and also serves a traditional Sunday lunch which is very popular.
You will have involvement in all aspects of the kitchen which will include developing and writing menus,also dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to ahcieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
The company are also looking presently at expansion plans and you will be involved in that area when required.
Recently the owners have been able to offer a 50 hour working week when the operation is able to have a full kitchen brigade.
Reporting direct to the owners and General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
£35k,up to £10k bonus,tips and benefits.
