Looking for a superstar Head Chef for this 4 star group hotel in great location on the border of Cheshire and Shropshire.
The hotel has over 80 bedrooms with various F&B outlets which includes 100 cover restaurant serving breakfast,lunch and dinner to both hotel guests and guests from the local residential areas close to the hotel.
Also the hotel has the added benefit of it’s own car park and with the venue being close to the local road and rail networks is a real asset.
There are also 7 meeting rooms available catering for conferences,events and also has meeting rooms for client 1-2 -1 meetings or rooms for 10 to the largest function room for 200 guests.
As Head Chef you will be managing the business day to day and work with and oversee the kitchen team to ensure a consistent quality at all times.
The food would be described as modern British with as much local and seasonal produce being used but also to ensure food costs and food items befit the offering and are priced in line with the main items on the menu.
This also applies to the C&B areas with ideally some cross over again for consistency and food costs.
Working with the team and manage all day to day aspects of the kitchen with training and development of team members a focus as well as food health and safety and food hygiene to the required standards.
Reporting to the General Manager this is a key appointment for the hotel and the salary reflects that they are looking for a high standard experienced Head Chef.
