Great new vacancy for a Head Chef in a beautiful location in rural Cheshire close to Chester approx 20 mins.
The hotel has 50 + bedrooms as well as an award winning restaurant offering a high standard of food and service using fresh,seasonal and also local produce to the local residents as well as the guests staying at the venue.
The hotel attracts many visitors as also has a spa and leisure and with it’s great scenic location and excellent reputation.
As Head Chef you will be part of the senior management of the operation and working with a kitchen brigade to assist,support and offer ongoing training and development to each member of the team.
The hotel was assessed back in 2019 and at that time achieved an award for the outstanding food and service and is looking to maintain to this standard going forward so would suit an individual with a background in fine dining as well as a similar style of food offered for events,weddings etc.
You will have involvement in all aspects of the kitchen which will include developing and writing menus,also dealing with suppliers and ensuring you are getting the best produce,also working to achieve the agreed targets which includes Food GP,wage costs and the general hygiene and legal areas of the kitchen.
Reporting direct to the General Manager this role will suit an individual who is looking to move away from central menus,suppliers etc.
