This well known and highly regarded hospitality company are presently looking to recruit for a hands on Head Chef for this iconic venue in the Cheltenham area.
The operation is well placed to attract the local and transient markets to deliver great food and drinks and to drive and develop the business from it’s present position and to make it one of the landmarks in the local scene.
The Head Chef role is to lead the day to day business and ensure a high standard of food preparation and presentation for the guests at all times.
Working with a focused and dedicated team to assist you and you support them with ongoing training and development and for each team member to take ownership of their role in the kitchen.
Manage all the back of house including costs for wages,food purchasing as well as all the food safety,health and hygiene and EHO standards.
Working as part of the team to offer leadership and a focus for the team and operation and to deliver the results that the client is looking to achieve in this venue.
The offering is a high standard of food with approx 30/40% of sales and then the rest is a mix of good quality wines,cocktails and craft beers available to the guests.
Manage the team in the kitchen and to create a positive work environment with the front of house team to ensure a 1st class guests experience at all times.
As Head Chef you will be able to develop the food offering with a brasserie style concept using fresh and seasonal and ideally as much of the local areas produce as possible.
Report direct to the General Manager and the MD of the group.
