The client based in great location near to Preston and close to the major roads in the area are presently recruiting for a hands-on Head Chef to lead their operation and to help maintain their standards.

This is a well known and well regarded 4 star hotel with 60 + bedrooms with Brasserie style restaurant serving modern British and seasonal food using local produce and there is also various meeting rooms with largest suite for over 100 + guests.

You will be working with a team of chefs and create a positive work in the kitchen department as well as the other hotels departments.

As Head Chef you will lead the team, ensuring the food is served to the highest of quality, all health & safety aspects of the business are compliant & undertake the training/recruitment of future kitchen team members ranging from KP’s to all levels of chefs in the kitchen.

You will have the ability to have creative input into the menu and working alongside the GM, creating seasonal menus using all fresh local food.

The client requires the chef to work 45 hours per week over 5 days, shift start times can vary depending on the needs and requirements of the business.
